Scotch. Neat.
Neat: not messy . Clean and orderly.
     not mixed with anything : made without ice or water added.
Neat一般當作乾淨整潔,例如 He keeps his apartment neat and clean.這裡是指不加任何水或冰於酒之中,例如I like my bourbon/whiskey neat
還有一個用法that’s neat 表示很讚,很有趣很酷的意思喔!! 例如: I think it's a neat idea

這邊的意思是解決。
分類: 例句Sort out the smaller oranges and throw them away .

Felicity: Then say never. Stop dangling maybes.
Dangle /ˈdæŋgəl/ :
1. to hang down loosely especially in a way that makes it possible to swing freely 懸盪,懸擺。 例:Let your arms dangle at your sides.
2.  to force someone to be in an uncertain position or to wait for a decision.
使..懸掛在不確定狀況下(須等待)
:We were kept dangling for weeks while the bank reviewed our loan application.

此對話中stop dangling maybes, 模稜兩可,得不到一個肯定的答案。

本週片語[bring round]: to make someone conscious again.
Ex.
1.      When he collapsed, the paramedics tried to bring Matt round by calling his name.
2.      The patient was in a coma and his relatives tried to bring her round by speaking to her.
使甦醒,喚醒,使有意識,大多使用在昏厥情況給予的一個動作

He said: Keep your head on a swivel.
Swivel /ˈswɪvəl/: a device that joins two parts so that one of the parts can turn or spin while the other part does not move. 一種裝置可以上下連接並且可左右旋轉(參考圖)

所以這句話是指一定要環顧四方保持注意力警戒。

It’ is not work. ‘It’ is a soul-crushing exercise in misery that offers health and dental. Suffice it to say.那不是個工作,那是個在苦難中對於靈魂的折磨,出賣健康。簡單來說。
是不是很有趣的一句話阿,有時候生活中或是工作上真的有這種感受吧!!
misery /ˈmɪzəri/ : extreme suffering or unhappiness
Ex. The war brought misery to thousands of refugees.

suffice /səˈfaɪs/ it to say: used to say that you could give more information about something but that the statement that follows is enough
Ex. First, the car wouldn't start, and then I got stuck in traffic—suffice it to say, there was no way I could get here on time.
