今天小編要介紹的片語為make out: to claim or pretend that (something is true).
平時的我們偶爾也會make out堅強，來掩飾自己的害怕，或許每個人都有自己行為的理由，甚至這些理由已超越對與錯。

Ex.
1. He made out that he was a millionaire, but, in fact, he had very little money.
2. Tessa was only a student but she made out that she was an experienced teacher.
