例句

上週介紹”frisk”搜身，We should have frisked you

本週總督因為將自己對已死去的女兒思念加諸到某個女孩上，

與該女孩有些互動，打勾勾要總督發誓，

外國人會這樣說”pinkies swear, plus cross my heart and hope to die”

就是要對方要遵守約定，否則….(自己想囉!!)

Pinkie(=pinky) 小拇指，勾小拇指約定就是pinkies swear囉!

總督找到的那戶人家，因為總督後來身上多了一把槍而說”我們應該搜你的身”

搜身該怎麼說呢?

Frisk: to search someone for hidden weapons, drugs etc by feeling their body with your hands:

例:We were frisked at the airport.

影片中是這樣說”We should have frisked you”

這邊偷偷講一下句型should + have + ppV, . 表示過去該做而未做的事(本應該做而未做)

失魂落魄的總督找到一戶人家，當然一開始雙方都拿的槍指著對方，

後來那戶人家就跟總督說we’re a little on edge.

On edge: Highly tense or nervous; irritable.

處於緊張狀態的意思囉~
