Michonne在憶當年美好時光，對話說到would you please talk some sense into your lover.

Take sense(說道理): to say things that are reasonable or sensible - often used when you think someone has just said something silly

例如:Talk sense! There's no way we can afford a new car!

在口語上很好用喔!五顆星~一定要記住喔!

本週片語[store up]: to keep (something) for possible use in the future.

Ex.

1.      Kevin stores up cans of fruit, but he’ll never use them all.

2.      My uncle stores old newspaper up, but I don’t know why.

3.      Ants store up food against the winter.

Store out 儲存

上週介紹tie把…綁起，大家還記得嗎? They tied him to a tree and beat him up.

本週The walking dead (陰屍路)』第4季第9集(Episode 9 Season 4)，

這集中主角Rick的兒子用了媽媽的小王><所教的繩結(結繩)，

雙套結綁東西，雙套結clove hitch 又稱丁香結

Knot結 (N) : 例如 He tied the two ropes together with a knot

       (V): 例如 Mike knotted the shoelaces(鞋帶) for his sister.

Clove tree 是丁香樹

Clove 也是 cleave(砍開)的過去式，過去式拼法還有cleft 與 clove 共三種，

英文就是這麼有趣，這麼多的意思!

I knotted the clove tree that was clove with a clove hitch..

句中有三個clove..大家都知道分別為什麼了吧!!

Ex.

3.      I patched up those holes.

Note: roofer:蓋屋頂的人， roof:屋頂

Patch up 有修補、修繕的意思，包含修補關係，多為暫時性的修補

名詞為補釘，補片，貼片的意思

本集中總督遇到曾經的下屬，但是已經成為該團體的頭頭，

所以當他要收留總督時，跟他說別成為負擔(累贅)，

One, I'm in charge.

Two, no deadweight.

In charge 意思為我為這裡的頭頭，一切歸我管，或是我是這裡的負責人

Deadweight: 1. 重物 2.阻止成功或是通過的人或物(絆腳石)
