先複習上週[wash down]吞下(連同液體)，例Ken washed down the nuts with a glass of juice.

今天介紹片語為[fall in with]: to accept and agree to (something):

Ex.

1.     Maurice refused to fall in with the rest of the family’s holiday plans.

2.     If you make the travel arrangements we will all fall in with them.

3.     Sue happily fell in with her friend’s plan to get a flat together.

接受並且同意一些事物，例句中的第二句很常用在生活上，

與朋友一同旅行時，若是希望朋友安排行程，就可以那樣使用囉!!

Donovan的弟弟因為槍的走火殺了人，

槍枝走火他說: The gun went off

另外有說到一詞 A cross-examination，就是盤問的意思

Go off: discharge, the gun fired

Cross-examination:  

1.To question (a person) closely, especially with regard to answers or information given previously.

2. Law To question (a witness already examined by the opposing side).

先複習[break down]就是指(機器)壞掉，例The car broke down and we had to get it towed to a garage.

今天介紹片語為[wash down]: to drink something after eating (food, etc. )or while eating(food, etc. )

Ex.

1.     Ken washed down the nuts with a glass of juice.

2.     They washed the sandwiches down with beer.

3.     Nancy took a sleeping tablet and washed it down with a glass of water.

這裡的wash不是洗東西的意思喔!是指以液體(飲料，水或酒)同食物一同吞下食用，有食後噎到或是吃了比較重味道的食物後，就是會馬上喝東西，就是這裡的意思喔!大家學起來了嗎?也是滿實用的片語喔!!

上週學到 out of someone’s sight, 離開某人的視線，大家還記得嗎?

例句Don’t let your dog out of your sight.

今天要介紹『The walking dead (陰屍路)』第4集(Episode 4 Season 4)part 2，光頭媽與Rick出門補給，在某處遇到了一對年輕人，年輕人因為躲避疆屍時脫臼了，因為對話挺多的，省略一下，當中年輕人說到了”Killjoys”

光頭媽說到”It’s dislocated”

Killjoy: someone who spoils other people's pleasure

字面上就是將Joy(歡樂)給殺死了，所以就是掃興的意思囉!

Dislocate: to move a bone out of its normal position in a joint, usually in an accident. 使脫臼

Ex. : I dislocated my shoulder playing football.

Ex.

3.      I had to hand wash all my clothes when the washing machine broke dwon.

就是壞掉的意思!常形容在機器上的損壞。

本週要介紹『Ray Donovan(清道夫)』第一季第11集(Episode 11 Season 1)part3，Donovan請阿維看好他家人，不要離開他的視線，

他說: Don't let 'em out of your sight, all right?

Out of someone’s sight 就是離開某人的視線

另外也可用在請離開我的視線，get out of my sight..

所以對於自己所愛的人就可以說I won’t let you out of my sight.

對仇人就可以說Get out of my sight >”<!!

這個片語就是非今日是今日畢的人常常會說的話!

他有滿多意思，例如忙碌，逃跑，奔走等等

在這是指要跟Rick出去補給(忙碌的意思)
