本週片語[cover up]: to place (something) over (someone or something) in order to hide or protect him/her/it

Ex.

1.      The thieves(小偷) covered the stolen bike up with a sheet of tarpaulin(帆布)

2.      The baby is getting cold – we had better cover her up with a shawl(披肩圍巾).

3.      The murderers(兇手) had covered up the body with a pile(堆) of leaves(葉子).
