~~英文片語我最行 10~~

星期三的片語教學又來了，小編要先來回顧上週的片語run over,大家有看Iron man 3(鋼鐵人3)了嗎?劇中有說到這個片語喔!!還沒看的粉絲可以注意看看(提示:男主角，小孩，車子)。

今天要講的是Knock out: to cause (someone) to become unconscious

Ex.

1.    The fierce(犀利人妻中的犀利) blow knocked out Mr Smart.

2.      The attacker hit the old man on the head and knocked him out.

3.      The burglar lifted a baseball bat and knocked the shopkeeper out with it.

除了以上意思與舉例，在生物技術領域，knock out 是可以解釋剔除，例如 knock out on DNA….
