今天要介紹的片語為【put up with】

To tolerate (someone or something different), to have to accept (someone or something) unpleasant or difficult:

Ex.

1.  The Millers can’t put up with their noisy neighbors any longer and so they’re moving house.

2.  Patsy hates the canteen food but she has to put up with it because it’s cheap.

3.  Liz said that she divorce Alex because she could not put up with his laziness.

中文就是忍受，生活中常用到的說法是，我不能再忍受….就是 not put up with ....any longer的用法囉!!
