本週片語[listen out for]:to be alert so that one will hear (something  expected)when it happens.

Ex.

1.      I must listen out for the postman ringing the doorbell – I need to sign for a parcel.

2.      This monitor lets us listen out for the baby crying.

3.      I didn’t hear the car drive up although I was listening out for it.
